Addie's 2nd Birthday Party was based on a cute little girly book titled "Pinkalicious"... which happens to be of equal interest to boys as well since the main theme of the story is CUPCAKES!
We decided to have her party at our local bookstore where we spend many days for storytime and music classes. It is family owned and operated and a true gem in old town! They did a fantastic job putting together games and activities to go with the story... some of which we never even got to! The rock climbing for cupcakes was an activity that was missed... which saddened me on behalf of the boys, but they had plenty fun dancing the May Pole and decorating cupcakes, playing "hot cupcake" and pinning the cherry on the cupcake! Not to mention, they got to listen to the story straight from the mouth of the "Cupcake Fairy", who also happens to be the music teacher during the week! ;)
We had a fantastic time and Addison was overwhelmed by the excitement of her favorite story coming to life! She is OUR sweet little cupcake and we hope these pictures demonstrate to her just how loved she is... not only by us, but by everyone who joined us for Addie's big day! Thank you, thank you!
