I must admit... few things delight me more than seeing the commonalities in our children and pondering the miracle of their existences! Of course they are each completely different children (that's the best part of it!), but recognizing that these little cookies were all made from the same cutters brings an element of unity to our family! Blake's 4th Birthday!

My how time flies! Our first-born baby is already FOUR! To commemorate the occasion, I interviewed the man of the hour! Here are some of Blake's current favorites that I wanted to capture at this fun and special age!

Favorite Color: Blue & Red (Spiderman of course!)

Favorite Food: Spaghetti

Favorite thing to Do/Play: "Pretend to be a chef and eat pretend."

Favorite Place to Go: "Chuck E. Cheese"

Favorite Toy: "Dark Spiderman & red Spiderman... all of the Spidermans and superheroes."

What do you want to be when you grow up?: "A chef "

Best Friend: "Addie & Kai"

Favorite Animal: "A tiger"

Favorite Song: "Blue music" (No idea what he's talking about here!) ;)

Favorite thing to wear: "My blue shirt and my black pants... and my lightning shoes!"

Favorite part of school: "Color the words and read... and tangrams!"

Favorite Movie: "A Night at the Museum... the old one, not the new one." (He means the first one, not the sequel)

Favorite thing to do with Daddy: "Play Spiderman and superheroes... and taste the coffee!"

Favorite thing to do with Mommy: "Ride in the van to all those places then take a nap and have a snack."

Favorite thing to do with Addie: "Kiss her and hug her." (Swear to goodness this was his first and only response!)

Something you can't wait to do with Austin: "Play with him with those cars over there."

Blake, you continue to melt our hearts! You are such a sweet kid... seriously! ... so kind, generous, and bursting with love for family and friends! Even your teachers continuously point out what a huge heart you have! If only we could take credit for your sweet nature! You are blessed with a generous spirit by the Lord and we pray for Him to guide us in helping you foster this special gift! We love you Blake... like you wouldn't believe! We thank God for choosing us to be your parents... how very lucky we are! :)

Now, onto some birthday party footage and a SUPER special little clip that Daddy caught while we were working on your Spiderman donut tower! Thank you Mikey for always grabbing the video camera for these unexpected moments... this clip will live in my heart forever... a true depiction of Blake as we know him! :)
