A Trip to Grandpa Orozco's Shop!

Grandpa Orozco was kind enough to let us run wild through his shop a few Saturdays ago! The kids and I had never been before, so it was quite the surprise to see how HUGE the place was! There was much to see and touch for the kids! They loved all of the nifty gadgets that help bring Grandpa's beautiful brass work to life! And of course, there was plenty coffee and espresso to go around... the kids can make a mean brew ya know!

Thanks so much to Grandpa Orozco for having us out! It was great to see the kids so excited about his work... and passion! It's contagious! :)

Just a typical evening at our house! :)

One of our favorite qualities about Blake is that he is very protective and inclusive of his sister! If you give him a snack, he requests one for Addison immediately upon receiving his own... and it's pretty much like that for anything! Oh, and if you put Addison in time-out, you may as well put Blake in time-out too, because you're guaranteed an ALL OUT protest from Blake on Addie's behalf! This endearing quality makes up for all of the time they spend poking each others' eyes out! ;)

On this particular evening, it was Blake's suggestion to share his extra set of Toy Story pajamas with his sister so they could be Buzz and Woody together! We were touched to see Blake's generosity, and moved by Addie's excitement to accept his offer! They were quite the team that evening... an evening we hope to treasure as a family for a long time to come!
