Can't say we'd been looking forward to this one! If the dentist was going to be anything like the doctor's, then we were in for some serious trouble! We decided to do our research and locate a Pediatric Dentist and pray for a positive experience that will keep the kids enjoying their visits in the years to come... and let's face it, if bad teeth are herditary then our poor little guys don't stand a chance! Mike and I don't have the best of teeth to pass down!
Knowing this in advance, we decided to care for the kids' teeth even better than we care for our own... so while our teeth blacken and fall out, we've been busy brushing our kids' gums before they even had teeth! Turns out, that's a good idea! The kids were fully inspected for cavities and Blake was even given an x-ray and a cleaning! Both of their teeth passed review and the dentist told us to keep up the good work!
The best part though was that the kids had a great experience! Sure they fussed a little during some tough parts, but the atmosphere and super awesome staff helped make the trip a success! They left with better toys than they have at home and got to watch a movie while having their "work" done! Thank the Lord for the Dental Fun Zone! We'll be seeing them again in 6 months... and the battle against heredity continues on!
